American Alawites PAC is dedicated to defending the Syrian Alawite ethnic and religious minority, preserving its dignity, and advocating for equal rights, safety, representation, and justice.

About Us

American Alawites PAC is an independent U.S. federal nonconnected political action committee working to strengthen the American Alawite community’s voice in the political process.

We bring together members of our community and others who share our priorities to support candidates for federal office whose positions and records reflect a commitment to human rights, religious freedom, and the protection of vulnerable communities. We encourage informed civic participation and help bring issues important to American Alawites to the attention of candidates and policymakers.

For many American Alawites, concern for relatives and communities in Syria is an important part of their civic engagement. We advocate for U.S. policies that protect Syrian Alawites from persecution and sectarian violence, preserve their dignity and fundamental freedoms, and uphold equal rights for all Syrians.

Our work is grounded in American democratic values and respect for the Alawite community’s religious and cultural heritage. We welcome supporters of all backgrounds who share these commitments.

The PAC makes its own decisions through its independent governance procedures. Our directors serve in their individual capacities, and we do not act on behalf of any foreign government or external organization. Our fundraising and political activities are conducted in accordance with applicable federal campaign finance laws and our internal governance policies.

Our Mission

American Alawites PAC works to strengthen the voice and political participation of the American Alawite community in the United States. We support candidates for federal office who advocate for issues important to our community, including the safety, dignity, and fundamental rights of Syrian Alawites and other vulnerable communities. Through lawful political contributions, voter education, and civic engagement, we bring these concerns into the American political process.

There can be no lasting peace without justice. We support independent investigations, transparent reporting, and accountability for atrocities, sectarian violence, and abuses against civilians.
